Election Commission To Convene Today

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Election Commission of Sri Lanka is set to convene in a crucial meeting today to engage in an extensive discussion regarding the forthcoming presidential election. 

The Election Commission is also considering a proposal to allocate a four-day window for postal voting. 

This period is intended to ensure that all eligible postal voters have ample opportunity to cast their ballots ahead of the presidential election.

However, the commission has indicated that deliberations are ongoing, and no definitive decision has been reached concerning the exact dates for postal voting.
