Second Fatality Reported in Athurugiriya Shooting Rampage

COLOMBO (News 1st); An individual who was injured in the shooting that took place in the Athurugiriya Town on Monday (8) succumbed to injuries, bringing the death toll to two.

Local businessman Surendra Wasantha Perera also known as Club Wasantha was killed in the shooting . 

Four other individuals, among them the popular local singer K. Sujeewa, sustained injuries in the shooting in the Athurugiriya town. 

According to the Police Spokesperson's Office, all of them were hospitalized.
