SLFP Crisis: Tense Situation at SLFP HQ

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A heated situation arose at the Sri Lanka Freedom Party headquarters on Sunday (21) afternoon.

This was when Dr. Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe, who was appointed as the Acting Chairman of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party on Sunday (21), arrived at the SLFP headquarters in Darley Road, Colombo.

However, Police did not allow the group to enter the SLFP Party headquarters.

Police said that the SLFP headquaters has been identified as a crime scene, and since the Government Analyst has not inspected the premises, adding that the matter was explained to the concerned parties.
