Mervyn Silva Announces New Party Formation

COLOMBO (News 1st); In a bombshell announcement, former Member of Parliament Mervyn Silva declared his intention to form a new political party alongside a group of prominent figures, pledging to bring about a dramatic national transformation.

Silva asserted, "The day when the entire country will be moved into a new era is not far away."

He further challenged the existing political landscape, stating, "Mervyn Silva is ready to take the lead. We will form a new party tomorrow."

His proposed party brings together a diverse group of individuals, including: President's Counsel Maitri Gunaratne, Mahendra Jayasekara, and Navin Gunaratne.
