Ranjan back in court for defamation case

COLOMBO (News 1st); Former MP Ranjan Ramanayake was produced to the Negombo District Court on Friday (27).
This was related to a defamation case filed against him by Former State Minister Nimal Lanza.
The matter was postponed to the 31st of September 2022.
At the same time, a silent protest took place opposite the Negombo Court Complex, demanding the release of Ranjan Ramanayake.
