Yoshitha, Karannagoda Indicted in Corruption Case

COLOMBO (News 1st); Former Navy Commander Admiral of the Fleet (Retd.) Wasantha Karannagoda and Yoshitha Rajapaksa, son of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, were today (20) served with indictments before the Colombo High Court in connection with a corruption case.

Following the handing over of the indictments, the High Court ordered that both accused be released on bail.

The indictments were filed by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC), which has initiated legal proceedings against the two defendants over allegations linked to corruption-related offences.
