President Dissanayake to Chair Review Meetings on 2026 Budget Proposals Beginning Today

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A series of review meetings on the implementation of the 2026 Budget proposals is scheduled to begin today (30).

The first meeting will be held at the Presidential Secretariat under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

Today's session will focus on the Ministry of Buddha Sasana, Religious and Cultural Affairs.

Discussions are also expected to include preliminary planning for the 2027 Budget proposals.

Meanwhile, the review of the 2026 Budget proposals relating to the Ministry of Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government is scheduled to take place tomorrow (30).
