Dr. Asiri Karunawardena Appointed as New Secretary to Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Dr. Asiri Karunawardena has been appointed as the new Secretary to the Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development.
The appointment was made by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
The appointment letter was handed over to the new Secretary this afternoon at the Presidential Secretariat by Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.
Dr. Asiri Karunawardena previously served as the Director General of the National Building Research Organisation.
