Cabinet Approves Purchase of 600 Air-Conditioned Buses For SLTB

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Cabinet approval has been granted for the purchase of 600 air-conditioned buses for the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB).
The cabinet paper was submitted by the Acting Minister of Transport.
The new fleet is expected to be deployed for intercity and long-distance passenger services.
A total allocation of Rs. 14.4 billion has been set aside in the budget for the project.
