SDIG Waruna Jayasundara Transferred to Children and Women Affairs Division

COLOMBO (News 1st); Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (SDIG) in charge of the Eastern Province, Waruna Jayasundara, has been transferred as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) in charge of the Children and Women Affairs Division.

Police Spokesperson, Assistant Superintendent of Police F.U. Wootler, says that Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (SDIG) in charge of the Uva Province, Mahesh Senaratne, has been appointed to oversee the duties of the SDIG of the Eastern Province.

These transfers were made effective as of yesterday.
