Sirasa Ruhunu Maya Poson Pooja in Ambalantota, Mattala And Ratnapura

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Maharaja Media Network has organized the 'Sirasa Ruhunu Maya Poson Pooja', a series of religious programs taking place simultaneously at three locations to mark this year's Poson Full Moon Poya Day.

The program is being conducted at the Ambalantota Ramba Rajamaha Viharaya, Saddharmalankara Vidyayatanaya in Ratnapura, and Mattala International Sri Angeerasa Buddhist Center. 

The Sirasa Ruhunu Maya Poson Pooja at the Mattala International Sri Angeerasa Buddhist Center in Ruhuna Magampaththuwa region commenced the day before yesterday with the participation of a large number of devotees.

A series of programmes including alms-giving, precept observance, and meditation sessions are scheduled to take place throughout the day.

Meanwhile, another segment of the Sirasa Ruhunu Maya Poson Pooja program is being held at the Ambalantota Ramba Rajamaha Viharaya. 

The Sirasa Ramba Damsaviya Poson Zone will be open to devotees today and tomorrow.

In Ratnapura, the Sirasa Minipura Poson Zone will be held from today until July 5 at the Saddharmalankara Vidyayatana.

Devotees visiting the Poson Zone, held near the Ratnapura Clock Tower, will have the opportunity to participate in various acts of merit and religious observances.
