Suspects Break Into Bank Vault In Moragahahena And Steal Gold Jewelry Stock

COLOMBO (News 1st): The police stated that a group has broken into a bank vault in the Moragahahena area and robbed a stock of gold jewelry.

According to the police, around 1:00 AM today, three individuals entered the bank, tied up the security officer, and fled with a stock of gold jewelry that was inside the vault.

The police further mentioned that the suspects also took the recording device containing the CCTV footage.

Investigations into the incident are underway.
