Aswesuma Elderly Allowance Credited To Banks Today

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Welfare Benefits Board states that the Aswesuma elderly allowance for the month of May will be credited to banks today.

The Board announced that an amount of 368,315,000 rupees related to this month will be credited to accounts.

Accordingly, these funds will be credited to 625,128 elderly individuals over 70 years of age in the first phase, and to 73,663 elderly individuals in the second phase.

The Welfare Benefits Board further stated that the relevant beneficiaries can obtain their benefit allowance from their accounts starting today.
