No Shortage Of Fuel, CPC Assures

COLOMBO (News 1st): The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) states that there is no fuel shortage in the country.

Its Managing Director, Dr. Mayura Netthikumarage, said that two crude oil ships are scheduled to arrive at the Colombo Port within the next few days.

He mentioned that those ships will be bringing 90,000 metric tons of crude oil each from the United States and the United Arab Emirates.

Managing Director Dr. Mayura Netthikumara further stated that queues were observed at certain filling stations due to false rumours spreading about a fuel price hike.
