Dilum Amunugama Summoned Over Remarks Against Abuse Victim

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The National Organiser of Sarvajana Balaya and former Member of Parliament Dilum Amunugama has been summoned to the Police Children and Women’s Bureau.

He has been summoned over a complaint received by police alleging that the former MP made verbally abusive remarks against a girl who was allegedly abused by Ven. Pallagama Hemaratana Thero.

A senior police officer said that he has been informed to appear before the Police Children and Women’s Bureau on Monday, 25th of May.

Police clarified details regarding the ongoing investigation during a media briefing held today.
