COLOMBO (News 1st); Minister of Public Security Ananda Wijepala says forensic doctors will determine the cause of death of former SriLankan Airlines CEO Kapila Chandrasena.
The Minister stated that police have launched all necessary investigations into the incident.
The Kollupitiya Police reported facts to the Fort Magistrate's Court yesterday regarding the death of former SriLankan Airlines CEO Kapila Chandrasena, who had been accused of accepting a USD 2 million bribe linked to the Airbus aircraft procurement deal for the national carrier.
Police informed the court that the death is being treated as suspicious.
His body was discovered yesterday morning at a relative’s residence on 5th Lane, Kollupitiya.
