Trump Tells Iran to 'Get Serious,' Warns Tehran That Time for Talks Is Running Out

COLOMBO (News 1st); US President Donald J. Trump has issued a blunt warning to Iran, accusing its negotiators of sending mixed signals in private and public while urging them to urgently commit to a deal.

In a sharply worded statement on Truth Social, Trump described Iranian negotiators as “very different” and “strange,” claiming they are privately begging the United States to reach an agreement.

He said such behavior is to be expected, arguing that Iran has been militarily “obliterated” and has no chance of reversing its position.

Trump rejected public claims by Iran that it is merely reviewing U.S. proposals, calling those statements inaccurate. “They publicly state that they are only ‘looking at our proposal,’” Trump said, before dismissing the assertion outright.

“WRONG!!!” he added.

The president warned that Iran must take negotiations seriously and do so quickly.

“They better get serious soon, before it is too late,” Trump said. “Because once that happens, there is NO TURNING BACK, and it won’t be pretty.”
