ADB President Masato Kanda Arrives in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The President of the Asian Development Bank, Masato Kanda, arrived in Sri Lanka on an official visit early this morning.

He is scheduled to inspect the Colombo Port Control Unit today and will attend a special luncheon with representatives from the private sector in the afternoon.

Later in the day, he is expected to participate in a reception and staff meeting at the Resident Mission office in Sri Lanka for the Asian Development Bank.

Masato Kanda is also planned to visit the Kegalle District to assess the damage caused by Cyclone Ditwah.

He is scheduled to meet with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake tomorrow and will depart the island on the 25th of March.
