Three Killed in Separate Road Accidents Across Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); Three people, including a child, have died in separate road accidents.

Police say a 15-year-old boy was killed after being run over by a tractor in the 39 Kanda area of Galgamuwa. 

The child reportedly tried to climb onto the tractor at the time of the accident.

In the Sevagama area of Polonnaruwa, an 80-year-old man, a resident of Palugasdamana, died after being struck by a motorcycle.

Meanwhile, a collision involving a lorry and two motorcycles near Teldeniya junction on the Mahiyangana-Dalukana road claimed the life of a 43-year-old man from Giradurukotte, while another person sustained injuries.
