Colombo Court Remands Underworld Figure ‘Commando Salintha’ Over Ganemulla Murder Case

COLOMBO(News 1st); The Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court today ordered the remand of 'Commando Salintha', who is said to be a powerful underworld operative who was detained by the Criminal Investigation Department.

This was after the suspect was produced before Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragamage.

He was produced before the court by officers of the Criminal Investigation Department under tight security.

The investigating officers who produced the suspect before the court also submitted a report to the magistrate indicating the progress of the investigations.

Commando Salintha has been named as a suspect in the Ganemulla Sanjeewa murder incident.
