Minister Vijitha Herath Departs for Official Visit to Germany

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism Vijitha Herath is scheduled to depart for Germany today on an official visit today. 

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism 
The visit follows an official invitation from the Bremen branch of the German-Asia Pacific Business Association (OAV). 

Minister Herath is scheduled to address the assembly representing the Asian region during the association’s 125th-anniversary celebrations.

The Minister is also expected to participate in a series of high-level meetings focused on trade and foreign employment. 

The OAV is the largest German association dedicated to promoting German-Asian business relations and is a premier platform connecting German business leaders with policymakers across the Asia-Pacific.

Additionally, the Ministry confirmed that during his visit, Minister Herath will hold bilateral discussions with Dr. Johann Wadephul, (yohaan waadaful) a prominent figure in German foreign policy.
