LAUGFS Gas to Distribute LP Gas Stocks Within the Next 36 Hours

COLOMBO (News 1st) - LAUGFS Gas PLC says that distribution of LP Gas stocks islandwide will take place within the next 36 hours.

Speaking to News First the company’s Chief Executive Officer, Nalinda Kurukulasuriya, explained the factors that led to the recent gas shortage.

Meanwhile, Litro Gas Lanka Ltd says that the distribution of 3,900 metric tonnes of gas, will commence today. 

The shipment carrying the LP Gas stock arrived in the country yesterday. 

Chairman of Litro Gas Lanka Ltd, Channa Gunawardena, said that 150,000 LP gas cylinders are currently being released to the market daily.

According to the chairman another gas shipment is scheduled to arrive in the country tomorrow.
