Two Arrested with Heroin and Ice in Anuradhapura and Mount Lavinia

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A suspect has been arrested in Anuradhapura Sacred City with 255g of heroin.
The arrest was carried out in a raid conducted by a team of officers from the North Central Province Crimes Investigation Bureau based on a tip off.
The arrested suspect is a 29-year-old resident of Medawachchiya.
Meanwhile, a female suspect was arrested in William Place, Mount Lavinia, with 110 grams of 'Ice' narcotics.
The arrest was made following a tip-off received by a team from the Mount Lavinia Division Crimes Investigation Bureau.
The suspect is a 25-year-old resident of Ratmalana.
