COLOMBO (News 1st) - A special circular has been issued mandating that an annual report on dangerous drugs destroyed under court orders be submitted to the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board (NDDCB) before December 31st each year.

The circular was issued under the signature of Prasanna Alwis, Secretary of the Judicial Service Commission.

Under these new guidelines, comprehensive annual reports covering the destruction of poisons, opium, and all other categories of dangerous drugs must be formally provided to the NDDCB for regulatory and record-keeping purposes.
