Teaching Service Competitive Examinations for Graduates Gazetted

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The competitive examinations for the recruitment of graduates to the teaching service have been officially gazetted.

The exams will be held in two categories: for graduates currently in the public service, and for those not employed in the public service.

Applications for graduates in the public service will be accepted online from 9 am tomorrow until 9 pm on February 19.

Applications for graduates not in the public service will be accepted online from 9 am on February 20 until 9 pm on March 5, according to the gazette notification.

Interested candidates can apply through the Examinations Department website 
(www.doenets.lk under Our Services, Online Applications, recuitment exams/e.b.exams.)

Eligibility criteria include, 
Graduates in the public service must be under 45 years of age.
Graduates not in the public service must be under 40 years of age.
