Senior Police Officers Including Two DIGs, Transferred

COLOMBO (News 1st) -A group of senior police officers, including two DIGs, has been transferred with immediate effect.

The Police Media Division says that these transfers were made subject to the approval of the National Police Commission.

Accordingly, 

DIG E.M.G.J. Saram has been transferred from the Galle Division to the Recruitment and Training Division.

DIG H.C.A. Pushpakumara has been transferred from the Recruitment and Training Division to the Galle Division.

The group of transferred officials also includes:

05 Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs)

01 Superintendent of Police (SP) and

01 Chief Inspector of Police (CI).
