Colombo Stock Exchange Issues Alert Over Fake Mobile App

COLOMBO (News1st): The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has issued a warning regarding a fraudulent mobile application circulating under its name.

Tharaka Amarasena, the Manager of Investment, Education, and Branch Operations, urged investors to use only the official and formal channels when engaging in stock market investments.

Amarasena noted that the recent surge in Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) activity has been exploited by scammers which has led to such fraudulent activities.
