Six Arrested With Petrol Bombs at Seeduwa Hotel

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Six suspects, who were reportedly preparing to attack a group of people, have been arrested with six petrol bombs at a hotel in Seeduwa. 

The arrests were made during a raid conducted by officers of the Western Province North Crime Division, based on a tip-off.

Police said the hotel owner was among those arrested last night.

A few days ago, a clash had occurred between two groups at the hotel. 

Investigations revealed that the suspects had been staying at the hotel in anticipation of another attack.
