Over 6,600 Arrested and Massive Narcotics Stockpile Seized in Special Police Raids

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A total of 6,641 suspects have been arrested in drug-related cases during special police raids conducted so far this year. 

Police Spokesperson ASP F. U. Wootler says that authorities have seized over 1,793 kilograms of heroin and more than 3,683 kilograms of ICE (crystal methamphetamine) during these operations.

In addition, police have confiscated 16,686 kilograms of cannabis.
