Responsibility Key to Nation’s Progress, says President

COLOMBO (News 1st): President Anura Kumara Dissanayake says a country can progress only when all citizens properly fulfill their responsibilities.

Addressing an event in Trincomalee, the President stressed that no profession should be considered secondary, noting that every role is vital for a stable state.

He further emphasised the need to dismantle the drug network, describing it as a powerful organised crime syndicate that poses a serious threat to the country.
