Loku Patty Associate Arrested with Assault Rifle and Modified Ammo

COLOMBO (News 1st); A close associate of the notorious organized crime gang known as ‘Loku Patty’ has been arrested in the Hungama area.

The suspect, identified as S.F. Indika, was taken into custody in relation to an investigation carried out by the Police Illegal Assets Investigation Division. 

Police recovered a T-56 assault rifle, 60 modified rounds of ammunition typically used in shotgun-type firearms, and two magazines loaded with bullets from his possession.

Authorities revealed that the serial numbers on the ammunition had been tampered with.
