Over 17,000 Vulnerable Children Identified in Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); More than 17,000 children in Sri Lanka have been identified as living in vulnerable conditions, Public Security Minister Ananda Wijepala revealed today.

The minister said the information emerged from a recent study conducted by the police. 

He added that steps are being taken to ensure these children receive necessary protection and care.
