Preschooler Dies in Hotel Pool Accident

COLOMBO (News 1st); A tragic incident unfolded at a hotel in Nugegoda, where a 5-year-old boy drowned after falling into a swimming pool during a training session. 

The child, a resident of Udahamulla, was participating in a swimming activity organized for preschoolers under the supervision of instructors.

According to police, the incident occurred while the child was in the pool with a group of other children and teachers. 

He was rushed to Kalubowila Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
