47 Indian Fishermen Arrested for Poaching in Sea of Sri Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st); Sri Lanka Navy has apprehended 47 Indian fishermen for allegedly engaging in illegal fishing activities within Sri Lankan territorial waters.
The arrests were made during coordinated patrols conducted in the Mannar and Delft sea areas.
During the operation, five Indian fishing vessels were seized and taken into custody along with the suspects.
