Seven Suspects Arrested in Matara with Hashish and Ice

COLOMBO (News 1st): Matara District Crime Division has reported that seven suspects were taken into custody yesterday in Habaraduwa, Baddegama, and Matara and were presented to the respective police stations.

Sri Lanka Police said that the arrested group included a close associate of organized crime figure, Midigama Ruwan.

Police recovered approximately 5.6 kilograms of Hashish and 11.8 grams of Ice from the suspects.

The suspects have been identified as residents of Baddegama, Koggala, and Habaraduwa areas.
