Drug Raids Lead To Seven Arrests In South, Two Arrested In Polonnaruwa For Selling Ice

COLOMBO (News 1st); Seven suspects have been arrested with Hash and ice narcotics in Baddegama, Habaraduwa, and Midigama areas.

The arrests were made, during raids conducted by the Matara and Hambantota Divisional Crime Units based on a tip off received. 

Over 5 kilograms of Hash were found in suspect's possession. 

Meanwhile, two individuals involved in selling ice narcotics were arrested, in Katuwanwila area of,Welikanda, Polonnaruwa. 

Police seized several packets of ice drugs along with cash amounting to approximately Rs. 70,000 during arrest. 

The suspects are reportedly residents of the area.
