Excavations at Kurukkalmadam Mass Grave to Begin Next Week

COLOMBO (News 1st): Excavations at the Kurukkalmadam mass grave in Batticaloa is scheduled to begin next week.
Deputy Minister of National Integration Muneer Mulaffer stated that Rs. 2.9 million has been allocated for the purpose.
He added that the excavations
will be carried out pursuant to an order from the Kaluwanchikudy Magistrate’s Court.
