New Guidelines Introduced for School Transport Vehicles

COLOMBO (News 1st) - The Ministry of Education has decided to implement a new set of guidelines and regulations for vehicles transporting schoolchildren.

Deputy Minister of Education, Dr. Madhura Seneviratne, said that a special program will be carried out in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport to ensure effective implementation.

He further noted that the initiative is being launched with the primary aim of safeguarding the safety of schoolchildren.
