SLTB Conductor Arrested with 'Ice' in Teldeniya

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A conductor attached to the Teldeniya Depot of the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) has been arrested in possession of Ice or Crystal Methamphetamine.

The arrest was made following a raid conducted by the Crime Investigation Bureau in the Teldeniya Division.

Police stated that based on information revealed during the interrogation of the suspect, a local drug dealer who supplied the narcotics was also taken into custody.

Authorities recovered over 2 grams of "Ice" from the suspect’s possession.

The arrested individual is a resident of Siyambalagastenna, Teldeniya.
