Susil Ranasinghe Comments On CEB Union Action

COLOMBO(News 1st); Expressing his views on the trade union action by employees of the Ceylon Electricity Board, Deputy Minister of Land and Irrigation Susil Ranasinghe stated that the government has not taken any decision that is unfair to electricity workers.

He said that the government is working to develop the energy sector while ensuring electricity board employees are not inconvenienced. 

He added that the employees and trade unions are expected to understand this, and any concerns can be discussed, as no decisions unfair to employees have been made.
