Health Ministry Raises Overtime Pay For CPR Officers

COLOMBO (News 1st); The Ministry of Health has increased overtime allowances for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) officers, according to a circular signed by Health Secretary Dr. Anil Jasinghe.

Accordingly, First-grade CPR officers will now earn Rs. 456 per hour, up by Rs. 151, while second-grade officers’ hourly pay has increased by Rs. 65 to Rs. 320.

According to the Ministry, the revised allowances have been in effect since April 1, with arrears to be included in September payroll.
