Wheat Flour Prices Rise by Rs. 13, Bread Prices May Follow

COLOMBO (News 1st); The price of a kilogram of wheat flour has been increased by Rs. 13.

Chairman of the All Ceylon Bakery Owners' Association, N.K. Jayawardena, said a decision on whether to revise the prices of bread and other wheat flour products will be taken tomorrow.

He noted that the association's Executive Committee is scheduled to meet tomorrow to discuss the impact of the flour price increase and determine the next course of action.
