Indian National Arrested with Over 4kg of Kush

COLOMBO (News 1st) - A 32-year-old Indian national has been arrested at the Kankesanthurai Port for attempting to smuggle a stock of Kush into the country from India.

According to the Police Narcotics Bureau, the suspect was apprehended during a raid conducted at the port premises after arriving by ship from India.

Officers discovered 4 kilograms and 120 grams of Kush hidden in his luggage.

The suspect is currently in custody, and further investigations are underway.
