Ready to Lead a United Opposition - Sajith

COLOMBO (News 1st); Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa has announced his readiness to lead a united front of all opposition forces.

Premadasa said the people had delivered a clear message through the recent local government elections: end deception and unite for genuine public service.

“The people of this country have sent us a powerful message—to work together by uniting all forces within the opposition. The public has drawn a line under deception and endorsed a truthful, people-centered service,” he said.

Premadasa added that the opposition is prepared to take on the responsibility of building a principled and transparent movement that reflects the will of the people.
