UPDATE: SriLankan Airlines Flight to Singapore Delayed for Special Inspection at BIA

COLOMBO (News 1st) - SriLankan Airlines has announced that its scheduled flight to Singapore will be delayed due to a special inspection of the aircraft.

The airline said the aircraft, which arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport, is undergoing a thorough inspection.

A special search operation got underway earlier today (2) at the Bandaranaike International Airport following a tip-off from Indian authorities.

Police Spokesperson said the information received indicated that six individuals suspected to be involved in the recent Pahalgam terror attack were on board a flight arriving from Chennai.
