Veteran Singer Saman De Silva Passes Away

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Veteran singer Saman de Silva has passed away at the age of 69.

He passed away this morning at the Kothalawala Defence University Hospital.

Saman de Silva, who captivated the hearts of Sri Lankan fans with his unique musical style for over four decades, was born on February 6, 1956.

Contributing around 900 songs to the Sri Lankan music industry, Saman de Silva became an iconic presence on local concert stages and performed internationally, leaving a lasting legacy.
