Dan Priyasad In ICU After Targeted Shooting; Police Says He's NOT Dead

Colombo (News 1st); Political activist Dan Priyasad has been hospitalized following a shooting incident. According to police reports, Priyasad was shot while at a residence in the Kolonnawa area.

The attack was carried out by two individuals who arrived on a motorcycle and used a 9mm firearm to shoot Priyasad.

Police Spokesperson Buddhika Manathunga confirmed the details of the incident, stating that the investigation is ongoing. Earlier, Sri Lanka Police said that Priyasad died while being treated in hospital.
