Polling Cards Hit Doorsteps: Postal Service Gears Up for Polls

COLOMBO (News 1st); The distribution of official polling cards for the upcoming local government elections has commenced today.

Deputy Postmaster General Premachandra Herath announced that this process will continue until the 29th of this month. 

Herath stated that postal workers have been provided with the necessary instructions to carry out this task efficiently. 

In addition, he mentioned that the distribution of secure packets containing postal ballots for the local government elections, which have been entrusted to the postal service, is already underway.
