President Promises to Reveal Names of Easter Sunday Attack Perpetrators by April 21st

COLOMBO (News 1st) - President Anura Kumara Dissanayake said that steps are being taken to reveal the names of a significant number of people responsible for the Easter Sunday Attack before the 21st of April this year. 

The President stressed that there is much hope among the general public that those who engaged in acts of fraud and corruption will be punished. 

The President said that investigations are underway into a plethora of crimes. 

He emphasized that the Attorney General’s Department will file indictments based on these investigations, after which the judiciary is tasked with the responsibility of hearing the matters in court and punishing the wrongdoers. 

The President also said that efforts are underway to reveal the names of a significant number of people behind the Easter Sunday attacks before the 21st of April.
