Grandpass Murders: Eight Arrested Over Gruesome Killings

COLOMBO (News 1st); Eight suspects have been arrested in connection with the double homicide that occurred in the Jaboos Lane area of Grandpass. 

Sri Lanka Police reported that the suspects, aged between 16 and 44, are residents of the Wellampitiya area.

During the arrest, police seized two knives and a mobile phone believed to have been used in the crime. 

The incident took place in the early hours of March 15th, near the railway tracks in Jaboos Lane, where two individuals were brutally murdered with sharp weapons.
